GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RESERVATION

 

Before reservation we kindly ask you to carefully read these general terms and conditions relating reservation.

 

We would also like to inform you that the present terms and conditions relating reservation may be modified. Modification of the referred terms and conditions in most cases is due to the altering of laws, therefore, we kindly ask you to read these terms and conditions before each reservation.

 

1.) Supplier’s data:

2.) Ways of reservation:

2.1.) Reservation via e-mail:

 

We kindly inform you that you can initialize a reservation (request for a bid) by sending your request via e-mail to foglalas@mahart.hu

 

In order to enable our colleague to make the bid necessary for reservation, your request must at least contain the number of passengers, the period of booking (boat rental) and the extras if any. If your request sent via e-mail does not contain every necessary piece of information, our customer service agent will contact you immediately (within 24 hours) in order to check data for the bid.

 

Our customer service agent will verify your request by sending you the bid, within 48 hours after you sent your request containing all necessary data.

 

If we do not have any available boat for the period of time chosen by you, our colleague will immediately contact you to find another date.

 

If there are no obstacles to verify your reservation, our customer service agent will send you the bid together with the verification of your request, and, at the same time, will register your request for reservation in the reservation system.

 

We mind you that the verification of your reservation and sending you the bid do not conclude a contract!

 

The bid contains the final price calculation, the sum of the advanced payment and information about paying (including deadlines etc.). In addition, parallel with the bid, our customer service agent will send you the brochure of our services and the reservation form as well, which – if you accept the bid – you must fill in and return to us.

 

We mind you that the bid is valid for 7 days. You can accept our bid by paying the advanced payment. If you do not pay the advance payment within 7 days from receiving the bid, we will delete your request from our system.

 

The contract will be valid when you accept our bid by paying the advance payment and your payment is verified by MAHART electronically (via e-mail). We will send you an invoice about the advance payment electronically (via e-mail).

 

We mind you that our bid is made on the basis of the actual availability, so it is only valid up to the advanced booking benefits and the free capacity. Our conditional bid, therefore, does expressly not constitute – not even if accepted – a bid binding to contract. Considering that certain boats or dates may have already been taken by the time we get your answer, or they are already on waiting list, their discount price may also change with time. According to the waiting list, another client’s option may already run on the boat, that is, if a third party accepts the bid earlier than you, your answer (accepting our bid) can only be taken if the third party’s option is cancelled without reservation, which means that the third party does not pay the advanced payment in due course. If this occurs, our colleague will contact you as soon as possible.

 

The canal boat rental contract (reservation) between our company and you is concluded if the following conditions are simultaneously fulfilled:

  • accepting/verification of our bid by you,
  • our company’s verification of the availability of the dates you chose,
  • advance payment fulfilled by you,
  • expressly accepting our company’s terms and conditions for lease.

 

2.2.) Reservation by phone

 

If you contact us by phone for reservation (request for bid), our colleague will record your e-mail address and all data necessary for making the bid (number of passengers, reservation (boat rental) period, extras if any)

 

After recording your request, our colleague will verify your request by sending you the bid electronically (via email) within 48 hours.

 

Following this, our company will act upon the procedure outlined in 2.2.) The way of reservation will be the same as the one outlined in 2.2). Therefore, we kindly ask you to read the information contained in 2.2.)

 

2.3.) Reservation by post

 

In the case of postal reservation (request for bid), in order to enable our colleague to make the bid necessary for your reservation, your request must at least contain your e-mail address, your phone number, the number of passengers, the reservation (boat rental) period and the extras if any.

 

If your request sent by post does not contain all the necessary information, our customer service agent will contact you immediately (within 24 hours) by phone or via e-mail in order to make the bid. If your request does not contain either phone number or e-mail address, we are unfortunately not able send you your bid. In this case we kindly ask you to choose another way of reservation.

 

Our customer service agent will verify your request by sending you the bid, within 48 hours after recording your request suitable for making a bid.

 

Following this, our company will act upon the procedure outlined in 2.2.) The way of reservation will be the same as the one outlined in 2.2). Therefore, we kindly ask you to read the information contained in 2.2.)

 

2.4.) Reservation via MAHART partner

 

If you arrange your reservation through a contracted partner of MAHART, all your data necessary for making the bid will be immediately forwarded to MAHART by the partner – with your information.

 

Our customer service agent will be automatically notified about the data recorded by the MAHART partner, on the basis of which your bid will be made and sent to you electronically (via e-mail) and with this your request for bid will be verified and registered in the booking system.

 

3.) Complaints management:

 

Should you have any complaints about the service, you can express your criticism by writing to MAHART’s above stated head office or by e-mailing to foglalas@mahart.hu

 

We kindly inform you that you can tell your complaint personally to our customer service agent at your base port, who will investigate the complaint immediately, and may resolve the problem if necessary. If you do not agree with the treatment of your complaint or it is not possible to investigate it immediately, our colleague will make a record of the complaint and your views about it, and if it is an oral complaint made in person then you will be given a copy of the record on the premises.

 

We would like you to know that you can also make a complaint on the phone by calling 0036-70-770-0495 on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 9 and 18. On the phone oral complaints will be identified with an individual registration number. Our colleague will make a record of the complaint and your views about it, a copy of which will be sent to you together with the results of the investigation.

 

Your complaint – except for the ones orally made in person and investigated immediately – will be investigated within 30 days and you will be informed about the result of the examination via e-mail, within the referred deadline.

 

In order to settle the legal dispute related to our service you are entitled to apply to the conciliation panel in authority at your abode. You can find the list of the panels at www.bekeltet.hu
